Youth Silver by international photographer Simon Procter is a collection of work spanning 8 years.

After countless casting and fashion photography shoots (on many continents) this is a selection the most

The classical atemporality of the work is rendered in a facsimile of the gelatin Silver print process, carefully reinterpreted with the very latest digital technology. “When you create work when you’re “in it” there is rarely an explainable logic. It is more instinct than thought, lots of things happening at once. When I started to shoot fashion and portraiture I was often in awe of these kids, most were still teenagers who had been everywhere in the world and done everything, I thought about myself at that age, I had rarely left my village and done nothing, I thought about doing nothing and listening to Duran Duran and I thought about the incredible silver prints of Irving Penn but most of all I thought about just how beautiful it
